Hulphonden/ Guide dogs

It is our mission to give people with limitations a better life with a specially trained dog. A guide dog enhances the freedom of movement and independency. KNGF Guide dogs is involved with their dogs from birth to pension.

What does KNGF Guide Dogs do?

Since our foundation in 1935 we have trained thousands of dogs for blind and visually impaired
people. Through our experience we have a fast amount of experience concerning dogs and
handicaps. Presently we also use this professional experience for people with other limitations,
uch as people in a wheelchair, persons with PTSD or children with autism.

Childer stronger than war – this is how we do it

Be released from war
Children stronger than war? Absolutely! Children are resilient – we see this on a daily basis. Fortunately! Because being released from war asks a lot from children. They have lost a grandmother, parent, or their best friend. Memories of violence are persistent, which makes trusting people difficult. Just like concentration. Or falling asleep.

Taking a child out of the war is one thing – but that doesn’t mean the war is out of the child. We know how to do this. From experience and research. This is why we are sure that what we do works.

Hulp voor Helden/ Help for heroes

Soldiers, veterans and their home front deserve attention, recognition and support from us all! We call them heroes as they are prepared to make sacrifices for the safety and piece of the world. They choose or chose a profession where service and adventure go hand in hand. A profession where loneliness, lack of understanding and traumatic experiences happen frequently. We find it important that this is recognized. Our mission: Help for Heroes wants to improve the wellness of soldiers, veterans and their home front. We execute this with projects that give them attention, recognition, and support.
